- For this card I have used the All Geared Up die set, the Nuts and Bolts precut stamp set and one of the panels from the paper collection.
- I stamped the image onto some black card using some specialist glue and used some Cosmic Shimmer glitter. Very effective and no colouring involved.
- I adhered the panel onto the card which measures approximately 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" .
- I have ran some Cosmic shimmer glue down the edges of the card and added some of the glitter.
- I die cut some of the cogs and sprockets in a selection of silver, and black card and layered them up to create a flower.
- I have also used one of the leave flourishes from the Cut Mat Create die set.
- To finish off the card I have cut the sentiment from the paper collection and adhered it to the bottom right of the card with foam pads.
- To finish off the card I have added some glitter to the sentiment and the flowers.

ReplyDeleteEvening Nikki, really enjoyed your shows as always, lovely design set but I've had to resist this time, however I'm well on my way to finishing my Christmas cards using the Heartfelt papers and the lovely candle and flourish stamps I'm really pleased with them. Love the colours on today's card.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your shows you are so professional and the samples from you and the designers were gorgeous , todays card is just mind blowing i so love it , along with the black card , cogs and sprockets . Think i will put this specialist glue and Cosmic shimmer glitter on my Christmas list as it is a new one on me .Good news for you about going to CHA .

ReplyDeleteThis is a dark card but the contrasting paper and beautiful shade of glitter 'wakes' it up and gives it the wow factor.
Im not a grungy or steam punky kinda lass but the way you put what is predominatly male subjects together is so clever and can immediatly turn it into a lovely female kind of card. Do I make sence ?
